When you place a request to book a reservation, our payment provider attempts to validate your Credit Card by placing the applicable amount in a temporary hold. This is called a preauthorization.
If the booking is not completed, this charge will not be deducted from your account. The funds will be held temporarily and released within 7 business days, depending on the bank.
If the release takes longer than 7 business days, we advise asking your bank about their usual processing time.
Please note that if you made multiple booking attempts, this hold can duplicate.
Only if the reservation process is completed and a reservation is created and confirmed, these funds will be charged.
